Temperature is a big factor affecting the service life of the reducer. If the operating temperature exceeds the limit working temperature for a long time, the aging of the insulating material will be accelerated, thereby greatly shortening the service life of the reducer. Therefore, during the operation of the reducer , if it is necessary to operate under the extreme working temperature, please take corresponding precautionary measures to reduce the damage to the reducer as much as possible.

It is best not to use the reducer in an environment with a lot of dust to prevent the dust from entering and hindering the normal operation of the equipment. Once the dust enters the equipment, it will accumulate on the gears and other parts, causing wear and tear on the reducer. In addition, when the reducer is working, the working temperature of the lubricating oil should not exceed 90°C. If the temperature is too high, the viscosity of the lubricating oil will be reduced and the bearing capacity of the lubricating oil film will be reduced.

The installation and maintenance process of the reducer is improper, and the reducer bears a huge dynamic load when it is started. Once the installation accuracy of the reducer does not meet the standard requirements, it will cause the bolts on the base of the reducer to loosen, thereby aggravating the vibration of the reducer and making the reducer The wear of the sealing ring at the high and low speed shaft holes is intensified, causing the lubricating oil to flow out. When the reducer is overhauled, it is necessary to carefully implement the process regulations, install it correctly, and the amount of oil added should not exceed the scale of the oil dipstick.

Excessive refueling will also lead to oil leakage from the reducer. During the operation of the reducer, the oil pool will be greatly stirred, and the lubricating oil will splash everywhere in the machine. If too much refueling will cause a large amount of lubricating oil to accumulate in the shaft seal, joint surfaces, etc., resulting in leakage. Improper oil selection is also a factor. The lubricating oil of the reducer should be selected according to load, speed, temperature and other conditions. It is wrong to blindly pursue the higher the viscosity of the lubricating oil.

In general, worm gear reducers often have to limit the maximum radial load allowed by the middle part of the input shaft and output shaft shaft extension, which should be checked. If it exceeds, it should be proposed to the reducer factory to increase the shaft diameter and increase bearing requirements. In addition, when choosing a worm gear reducer, you need to look at the production capacity of the manufacturer. Considering the establishment time of the manufacturer’s brand, the longer the establishment time, the more experience the entire equipment has accumulated in the production of this equipment. Of course, when you often buy things, you will find that people still feel that the quality of old brands is relatively better. This is a process of accumulating experience.

1. Common types of reducers

(1) The harmonic transmission of the harmonic reducer uses the controllable elastic deformation of the flexible element to transmit the motion and power. relatively poor. The input speed should not be too high.

(2) The planetary reducer has the advantages of relatively compact structure, small return clearance, high precision, long service life, and large rated output torque. But the price is slightly expensive.

(3) The main feature of the worm gear reducer is that it has a reverse self-locking function and can have a large reduction ratio. The input shaft and output shaft are not on the same axis or on the same plane. However, the volume is generally large, the transmission efficiency is not high, and the precision is not high.

2. The role of the reducer

(1) The speed reduces the inertia of the load at the same time, and the reduction of the inertia is the square of the reduction ratio. You can look at the general motor has an inertia value.

(2) Reduce the speed and increase the output torque at the same time. The torque output ratio is the motor output multiplied by the reduction ratio, but attention should be paid not to exceed the rated torque of the reducer.

Three, the type of reducer

General reducers include helical gear reducers, including parallel shaft helical gear reducers, worm gear reducers, bevel gear reducers, etc., planetary gear reducers, cycloidal pin wheel reducers, worm gear reducers, planetary friction machinery without Gearbox etc.

The reducer is generally used for transmission machinery with low speed and high torque. The motor, internal combustion engine or other high-speed running power is used to achieve the purpose of deceleration through the gear with a small number of teeth on the input shaft of the reducer and the large gear on the output shaft. Ordinary The reducer will also have several pairs of gears with the same principle to achieve the ideal deceleration effect. The ratio of the number of teeth of the large and small gears is the transmission ratio.

When the peripheral speed of the gear of the reducer is greater than 12m/S, oil injection lubrication should be used, that is, the oil is supplied by the oil pump or the central oil supply station at a certain pressure, and the lubricating oil is sprayed onto the meshing surface of the gear teeth through the nozzle. When v�?5m/s, the nozzle can be located on the tooth meshing side or on the side of the tooth; when v>25m/s, the nozzle should be located on the side of the tooth tooth, so that the lubricating oil can be used to cool the teeth that have just meshed in time. The gear teeth are also lubricated at the same time.

For general closed gear reducer transmission, the lubrication method depends on the peripheral speed of the gear. When the peripheral speed V of the gear is less than 12m/s, the gear teeth of the large gear are often immersed in the oil ground for oil-immersion lubrication. In this way, when the gear is in transmission, the lubricating oil is brought to the meshing tooth surface, and the oil is also thrown to the box wall to dissipate heat. The depth of gear immersion in oil depends on the peripheral speed of the gear. For cylindrical gears, it usually does not exceed one tooth height, but generally it should not be less than 10mm; for bevel gears, it should be immersed in the full tooth width, at least one tooth width half. In multi-stage gear transmission, the oil can be brought to the tooth surface of the gear that is not submerged in the oil ground by means of the oil tanker.

The amount of oil in the oil pool depends on the power transmitted by the gear. For single-stage transmission, the oil demand is about 0.35~0.7Lo for every transmission of Ikw power. For multi-stage transmission, the oil demand increases exponentially according to the number of stages.

1. Some applications must strictly abide by this criterion. This is not only to protect the reducer, but more importantly, to prevent the output shaft of the planetary reducer from being twisted. This is mainly because, if there is a problem with the installation of the equipment, the output shaft of the reducer and its load are stuck, and the overload capacity of the driving motor will still increase its output, which may cause the output bearing of the reducer to be damaged. The output shaft of the reducer is twisted off if the force exceeds 2 times its rated output torque.

2. In the process of acceleration and deceleration, if the instantaneous torque multiplied by the output shaft of the planetary reducer exceeds 2 times its rated output torque, and this acceleration and deceleration is too frequent, the reducer will eventually break axis. Considering that this situation occurs rarely, it will not be further introduced here.

3. Wrong type selection leads to insufficient output of the equipped reducer. Some users mistakenly think that as long as the rated output torque of the selected planetary reducer meets the working requirements, it is enough when selecting the model. The rated output torque provided by the product catalog is close to the rated output torque of the reducer. Secondly, the overload capacity of the drive motor and the maximum working torque required in practice must also be considered. In theory, the user needs a large working torque. It must be less than twice the rated output torque of the reducer.

Among them, when using the planetary reducer, we must pay attention to its code of conduct, and at the same time, there are fatal reasons for insufficient output to the wrong type. The broken shaft of the reducer is too small, and the broken shaft of the planetary reducer is a common problem. In addition to the broken shaft of the reducer caused by poor assembly concentricity at the output end of the reducer. The above three points are possible causes and problems.
